Crindle Stables is a Professional Showjumping, Riding school, Livery and Competition yard, based on a working farm and stud. Situated on the beautiful Causeway Coastal route in Limavady, Derry / Londonderry, home to Game of Thrones. The family run equestrian centre offers a wide range of horse riding lessons, quirky horse riding activities as well as bespoke experiences, catering for the beginner to the advanced rider, ideal for a memorable occassion. Dunluce Castle.
Situated on the dramatic coastline cliffs of Co Antrim, Dunluce Castle is a short 5min drive from the Portrush Atlantic Hotel. Dating back to 1513, Dunluce Castle holds the story of the MacQuillan family, and how it was seized by the MacDonnell clan in 1550. Today visitors can explore it’s ruins, reading all about its history including the tales of a banshee. Parking is available and tickets are required for tour, with discounts for families it is a captivating and impressive must visit for all the family.
Giant’s Causeway:
The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it.
You can walk to the stones for free, but the car park is reserved for those buying tickets for the Visitor Experience, which includes a guided tour and use of the audio guides, available in 11 languages.
Take a walk with giants and explore one of the incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Perfect for couples and families with spectacular scenery and mythical tales.
Carrowmena Activity Centre:
With outdoor wet and dry activities to suit all ages, and promised adrenalin fueled activities, Carrowmena Activity Centre can provide an afternoon of family fun. Canoeing, raft building, zip lines, archery and climbing walls- all within a stunning setting at the foot of Binevenagh and a short 20min drive from Portrush. So pack your swimming trucks and bring your adventurous side.
Jet Centre Coleraine:
The Jet Centre is a hub of family entertainment, from movie house, bowling, mini golf and arcade- there is something for everyone of all ages, big kids and little kids alike. The perfect rainy day escape and only a short 15min drive from the Portrush Atlantic Hotel.
